Seropositivity for SARS-CoV-2 spike protein due to vaccination or infection does not cause infertility

Explanation
Some reports have claimed that the similarity of syncytin-1 and SARS-CoV-2 spike proteins may induce immune cross-reactivity and cause infertility in women.
This study used frozen embryo transfer as a model to compare implantation rates among SARS-CoV-2 vaccine seropositive, infected seropositive, and seronegative women and found no difference in serum hCG recorded and sustained implantation rates among the three groups.
Thus, reports claiming that the COVID-19 vaccine or disease causes infertility in women have been shown to be unfounded.
