As for supplementation with sodium chloride, it may be more beneficial than other interventions, but sodium chloride supplementation may not be appropriate due to the possibility of sodium overdose.

Multi-supplements containing these ingredients are also not recommended, as the effectiveness of each of these ingredients is unknown due to the variables of their content.The study suggests that if a woman is having trouble with leg cramps during pregnancy, she should take "magnesium lactate" and "citrate" in standard doses of 5mmol in the morning and 10mmol at night, but only after consulting with her doctor.

Conclusion.

Supplementation with "magnesium lactate" and "citrate" seems to be the preferred treatment for leg cramps during pregnancy, but you should consult your doctor before taking them.
