study

This time, I would like to talk about children's reading habits.

Do you read?

If you're reading this blog, you're probably a pretty good reader, aren't you? I'm sure you are.

I don't know if you have children, but I hope you will read this while remembering the habits you had when you were a child.

What motivated you to read? The study presented here is supposed to investigate the relationship between mothers' and children's reading habits and their mental intelligence quotient.

This is my introduction to the study, as I did not find it to be true.

The Study

Numerous studies have shown that families play an important role in the education of their children as well as in their reading ability, in the acquisition of skills in the process of education and formal learning.

Furthermore, it points out the fundamental role of the mother as the mainstay of both education and social education within the family.

The approach taken in this study aims to analyze whether mothers' habits may affect their children's reading comprehension.

On the other hand, many studies have pointed out the relationship between reading comprehension and mental intelligence quotient.

The objective is to establish the existence of a relationship between maternal reading habits on post-adolescent reading ability and mental intelligence quotient.

Four hundred and twenty first year university students (43.8% males and 56.2% females) between the ages of 18 and 20 years old from the Andalusian universities of Granada, Malaga and Yen participated in the study, all located in moderate socio-cultural areas.

A moderate mediation and factorial ANCOVA analysis was performed.

Results show that post-adolescent profiles with the highest scores in reading ability also score better in emotional intelligence and the fact that mothers score the highest in reading habits.

In conclusion, the study suggests that the role of mothers in the home is even more important than it is found in societies that seek equality.

Commentary

Briefly, this study shows that children who see their mothers reading develop the habit of reading spontaneously and understand the benefits of reading.

Furthermore, it would be even better if the children could experience how the knowledge gained from reading affects their lives and pass it on to their children.

According to the study, 65% of people have a reading habit, 25% read every day, 20% read at least once a week, and 20% read at least once a month.

Furthermore, in response to the question "How many books do you have at home? More than 60% of the respondents answered that they have more than 50 books at home, which shows the influence that reading has on children.

Nowadays, schools set up reading time and force children to read, but I am not sure if everyone is reading at home. However, I am not sure if everyone reads at home.

But I don't know if everyone is reading at home. Reading here refers to books that help develop reading comprehension and concentration.

One thing to think about is that with the opportunity to read online, a reading style that fits this age may be created in the future.

Conclusion

In order for children to acquire the habit of reading.

The mother should show the habit of reading. (e-books are also acceptable)

Teach them the joy that comes from reading.

A lot of books in the house.

If there are lots of books in the house, they will start to read voluntarily.

When I got my national certification, I got into the habit of reading, and now I read more than five books a day.

There are about 200 technical books and other books at home, and the child spontaneously reads the books of his choice.

We did this because we needed to, rather than because we wanted to, but we were practicing what the study said, so I introduced it to them.
