Tea Tree Oil for Acne Mite Blepharitis
Tea tree oil, an essential oil derived from an Australian tree, is used for wiping eyelids, shampooing, and massage. And while it is said to be applicable for acne mite blepharitis, it is unclear whether tea tree oil is beneficial compared to other treatments, so a study was conducted to investigate dosage and other relevant items.

The study was designed to compare tea tree oil with other treatments to investigate the effectiveness of the oil. The review included six studies with 562 participants.
The participants were men and women between the ages of 39 and 55, and the studies were conducted in the United States, South Korea, China, Australia, Ireland, and Turkey. Each study design was different, limiting the reliability of the analysis and results.
As a result, there was a high degree of bias in most of the studies, making it unclear whether tea tree oil (in concentrations of 5-50%) would help reduce the number of acne mites.

Summary.
In general, the use of oil massage, which is easily available in private facilities, may be restricted for use on areas that fall under the scope of this study, but the study was also described as unclear as to its usefulness.
Although the approach to blepharitis may differ among countries, medical systems, and laws, it may not be effective for therapeutic purposes. If it is used for massage, it is recommended to use it in low concentrations, but consult a specialist when using it for inflammation.
